Cell phone text spam and phising on the rise ?

Anyone getting a increase in Text based, spam, glurge or phishing ? I have...lotsa text posing as banks saying there are CC problems. Yikes.

They all come and go; gmail does a fairly good job of screening them, so I don't often see them unless I look in the spam folder.

I've never had that problem. I'm kind of surprised to hear that spam is coming in through text messages. ??
