This is a photo of the same setup without the canopy completed by my friends at Black Jungle.
(Photo ourtesy of Black Jungle, www.blackjungle.com)

I am a hobbiest that breeds Frogs. I had this terrarium custom made to build my largest living terrarium yet. Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to finish it due to a career change and need to sell my terrarium before moving.
My future wife has been telling me to get rid of this for a while now. However, once I set it up for a photo shoot she fell in love with it as I originally did. This is really a beautiful piece of furniture. Everyone will admire it. You can also use it for Iguanas or various lizards and snakes. AWESOME! This is specially manufacturered by a top aquarium maker that designs these for pet stores and zoos. I spared no expense. This terrarium costs over $3,000.00. I am only asking $1,200 or BO
The terrarium uses 1/4" tempered glass and comes with a custom wood base with storage built in and a matching canopy. I am sad to see this go. However, it has been sitting in my living room for over a year now. I am getting married, with a new career and I can really use the money. Here are the specs:

* 1/4" tempered glass
* heavy duty screen cover
* 250 Gallons with 20 gallon tub in the base.
* dual sliding doors for easy access
* natural wood canopy and base with storage
* Measures 48" x 48" x 24"
* weight est: 400lbs

As you can see in the pictures, I have already prepared the sides by coating them with a black silicone treatment which hides the foam used for making waterfalls. If you want, I can easily clean this off for you. It is silicone and comes off quite easily. If you are interested in building a replica of the terrarium in shown in the picture above. You can find complete step by step instructions with full color photo's at my friends exotic pet store, www.blackjungle.com. These guys are great and will help you with anything you need. They also carry an amazing collection of Poison arrow frogs and Tropical plants!

This item is for pickup only. I would not come without 4 to 6 strong people to assist you and a very large truck. I would suggest at least a F150 or even a UHaul which is probably the best way to go.
Before moving Buy insurance or add this your home owners or apartment insurance just in case anything happens. I will no be responsible for any damages while moving this item.

The best way to reach me is at 978-524-9977. ONLY SERIOUS BIDDERS NEED APPLY! I am not answering calls for services being offered. I do have a merchant account and can eccept Credit Cards.

Not sure what I'm missing here. I bought the same setup and it cost <$850 from the same supplier.

The supplier is Glasscages.com (Twin Oaks) in Tennessee. The tank is $350. The oak base shown is $280. The oak canopy is $140. For the extra think glass there was a $25 surcharge.

That total = $795. I believe the shipping was $50...so that brings the total to about $845.

Please tell me what upgrades got you to $3K! Looks like you're "settling" for a 50% markup on your costs...

In addition to the tank, canopy and base, I am including over 20 pieces of large and extra large Cypress wood, One 48" professional grade aquarium light setup, One 48" double flourescent light, all of the Black Silicone and Great Stuff for the water fall and the pump.
And, I am not asking $3,000.00 for it. I have invested over $3,000. I am asking $1,200 or "BEST OFFER". Add this all up and I my markup is now in the negative. I would be happy to even come close to breaking even.
If you are interested but, don't want to pay that price then, make an offer I can't refuse.
