Andy,
are you talking about the pumilio, or the ones from Understory?

The new ones the SNDF, Reptile depot and I am sure that a few others are selling. Some of these look like San Christobal pums in a way. Sorry I should have clarified what imports.
Thanks

I am going to throw out some names. These frogs have names but not necessarily correct site local info;
Regina, Giant Orange, Patricia, Oyapoc, Palid, Powder Blue, Alanis, InferAlanis, various Sipaliwini.
All of these frogs are the same species.
All of these frogs are in the U.S. hobby.
Imagine if all of these frogs came into the hobby at the same time with zero site local and zero names or codes to differentiate between them all..............

Darts with parasites are analogous to mixed tanks, there are no known benefits to the frogs with either.

I have to agree with Rich. No local / collection data........we don't know what they are, or where they are from. This is what happened when the first imports of pumilio came in a couple of years ago.....Man Creek or Almarante, Chiriqui River or Bruno.

True. I don't see a solution either. I think the way that the importation was handled could have been better thought out. Instead of offering the frogs as singles, they should have been only sold in groups. It's going to take much longer now before any viable captive populations are available. I don't really like to see some of the amateur hobbyists that have them sqabbling over who gets to name them either.

Too late for these, but there are some froggers trying to set up some morphs and species with specific site locals from Panama for the future.
