Could one safely keep a pair of D. imitator in a 10 vert ?

As far as I know that is possible. When I was in the market for my darts I was asking the same question and everyone I talked to said a 10 is ok for 2 smaller sized Dart Frogs, like thumbnails.

Yes, a pair of imis would be ok in a 10 gallon vert. If you haven't already bought the tank, you might consider an 18g tall Exoterra or Zoomed vivarium instead. They are only ~$23 and the same exact footprint as a 10gal (same lid and same shelf space). They are tall enough and you don't have to fuss around with making a vert (that doesn't leak).
