what source of heat is best?
#1
I just set up my first Viv. normal day temp right now is 70 and at night it drops to 65. I know this won't hurt my plants, but soon I hope to get some pdfs, and that won't do. I have no water feature, but I hand spray and can keep humidity at 85 all day and night. Will a heater pad under the tank keep it warm without harm, or is there a better source of heat I should invest in? I have a 29 gal. aquarium that I set my viv up in with a glass lid. If a heater pad will work what size is recomended? Thanx in adavance. Also what pdfs are best for a viv with no water feature?

With a 70 day/65 night temp, you could either buy some frogs that prefer cooler temps (like tricolor, or terribilis), or just increasing the power of your lights should be sufficient to get a good daytime high of 75 or so (65 is fine for night).
