i was able to make a waterfall, just wanted to share how i did it. Ok, so it sounds pretty getto but it worked lol. i took a cardboard box and cut one entire corner (top to bottom) out, cut to the height of the aquarium. I sprayed in the Great-Stuff expanding foam and REALLY overfilled it and let it set up overnight. the next day i was able to cut to fit the cured foam, so it would fit the corner of my tank. then i used the silicone and coco fiber to cover this giant peice of foam. after that i gathered the rocks i was going to use in it, all flat, thin rocks...i used a knife to cut slits into the foam, and just pushed the rocks in. I left about 3 inches rock free at the top and carved out the vety top (kind of like a bowl) thats where the water is pumped in. there is a big slot right above the top rock for the water to drain out and down. Then i put it in the corner of the empty tank and used more great-stuff to glue it into place, covered the rest of the back of the tank with the foam, and used more silicone and coco fiber. made a false bottom so i could have a pond at the base of the falls, and it looks great. hope someone else can use this to their advantage

Wow!!! That is one great looking tank! How deep is your false bottom? I really like how you camouflaged the eggcrate. You can't even see it. How did you get all those little rocks like that? Are they siliconed to the tank or anything? I'd also love to see a picture of the waterfall you made. That was a clever idea. Did you ever get frogs in there? I think they would be very happy with that habitat!!! I'd be happy if my first comes out half as good!
