beauty! is your leuc hiding under a b. rajah? if so, how warm or cool is the tank, and how long has the rajah been in with frogs and how is it holding up?

Yeah, If I remember correctly, thats a Begonia Rajah. It has been in there for the whole life of the viv, over a year and half now. It has grown lots and its doing great and spreading. The temps are between 70 and 80 year round inside the tank. There is no air ciruculation and a heavy moving waterfall wich keeps the air very humid. There is no soil, only leca balls covered with carpet moss. The construction journal is in the parts and construction section under '48 Gallon bowfront construction journal'... I do hope to add a fan to this vivarium, I hope it doesnt hinder the growth of the Rajah, it really is my favorite plant of all my viv's.

Thanks for the comment!

I forgot to add that, Mack, the B. Rajah (I got it from black jungle) came very small and VERY fragile. Three of the 5 leaves had fallen off during shipping and one more fell off in my hands. I left it in the pot for a couple weeks inside the vivarium so it could grow a bit before I transplanted it.

You sure have some beautiful frogs there! Which kind is your favorite? I can't wait to get my first frogs, but I'm having a hard time deciding. You seem to have my favorites there. I'm trying to decide between azureus, leucs and tincs. I do love the look of the blues though.

Do you like having just leca balls and moss? What kind of plants can grow in that set up? Do you see any disadvantages to it? I ask because I'm getting ready to set up my first tank and that has been one suggestion that I had. In my case the tank is 20g long, so there is not much height. Can you add springtails to a tank like that?
