After sweatin it out and keeping my fingers crossed that my lone female kept happy and healthy a trio a good friend of mine had on loan is now producing!! 24 eggs in the last clutch. WAHOO!

Im surmising they do not breed as readily as the mints? If so, I wonder how just a color difference makes the difference in ease of breeding.

What a lot of people don't realise is that the color is not the only difference between yellows, mints, and oranges.
I have never had mints , but as you say , I would guess at the fact that they breed a bit easier than orange or yellows, talking to a few people who have had them. They do still take awhile to mature. The orange I have had all produce colors that raged from ALMOST the same color as a yellow to a very deep pumpkin orange in the same clutch. I have worked with three distinct orange lines and they all threw different colored froglet from the same clutch. The yellows, and I am fairly sure I am the only one in the States producing true yellows, always produce yellow froglets with a metallic sheen. Out of the hundreds of froglets I have produced there have been only a couple exceptions to this rule, far less than 1%.
Yellow terribilis are smaller , have different calls, and and have different egg characteristics than orange .
Just trying to point out the differences because I know of a few froggers who have what they were told were or believed to be yellows only to find out they were oranges on the yellow end of the color spectrum.
