This grows through the cracks in the sidewalk out back on the N/E corner in a semi-shaded area and looks really cool. The leaves are TINY and it grows low and spreads out nicely, so I was thinking of using it as ground cover in a couple places in my new tank. Can anyone identify it or tell me anything about it?

As long as the plant is not abrasive then it would worth trying. It may not like the high humidity, only one way to find out.
