Hi steve,

I am 100% sure is not spindly leg syndrome. That syndrome happens when the tad morph into a frog and consist on the legs not having enough strength to brake through the tad outer skin or if they did break through the legs are very skinny and smaller than normal legs. when the tad morph into a froggy the legs can't support the weight of the lil frog.
I think what happened to your frog is that actually got damage on the shipment or if the frog is a farm raise or wild caught could had actually got injured.

Steve,

I would worry about breeding him, it sounds more like trauma.
