Great shot, he's a man with a mission. The parental instincs of these frogs are one of the most exciting facts to observe IMO. How's the development coming, has the sentry been keeping his post?

I had really wanted to leave these in the tank for the parents to transport and care for, however they started sliding off of the leaf. I rescued them and the are developing nicely. The little male was not a happy camper about loosing the eggs. He still goes to the leaf as if he is expecting them to reappear.
I recently moved the tricolors to a new tank with a somewhat larger water area. I was interested to see how they would do raising little ones, as they did a great job in their old tank. Guess I will have to wait for the next batch of eggs
