Agreed. It appears healthy? Is it possibly albino?

Matthew,
it is developing and looks like it will pop the front legs without incident.
I don't know if it is an albino or hypomelanistic, but it's not like the others.

Wow Cindy. Definitely something going on with the color there. Keep us posted.

Darts with parasites are analogous to mixed tanks, there are no known benefits to the frogs with either.
If tone is more important to you than content, you are at the wrong place.

The clutch mate to this one popped one of it's front legs yesterday, and it has 'normal' coloration.
As a side note, I have noticed that when the frogs pop their front legs, it is the left leg that emerges first. Does anyone know why this is?

We have a front leg!
Looks like it is starting to get some pattern too.

Looks like it should be nice and healthy. Do you know if you got the parents from the same line as Rob Oz? He has some that go to the other end of the spectrum. They morph blackish.

Hey Oz,
thanks for the picture! That is 'different'.
Has the froglet developed any pattern/coloration?
Rich,
I will have to check to see who these originated with.
Yes - there is patterning present - just no iridescent pigmentation. If you shine a flashlight on them - you can see light spots of yellow or blue-gray. It took a while for the pattern to develop.

Updated 'baby' pics.
It's been out of the water almost 2 weeks and is pounding down springtails and mels.

Thanks Matthew.
It's eyes are kind of freaky looking, hard to tell from these pictures.

Wow Cindy, that is a cool looking frog. Its amazing you can see right through it.
It will be interesting to see how this frog grows up. I would personally love to see more pictures of it as it gets bigger.

If you told me that you cut a piece of gold paper and glued it to the frog I would believe it 100%, that first photo shows the golden color as if it was 24kt gold.
This frog looks so weird it's amazing.
i know this is an old post but could you post an updated picture of what that cute little guy looks like now fully developed?

We had taken some pictures earlier this week, just haven't had time to post them.
This is the first one to morph, and it is right at 12 weeks OTW.
