Hex tank - hard to light
#1
I have a hex tank - 30 gallons, and I need a better light for it. However I don't know what I should use. The long "bar" lights are too long. The tank at its widest is 22 inches long. What light fixture should I use ?

You could get a dome light and a florescent fixture for it. They have the regular power saver ones at the store, or you can get special reptile ones. They're florescent, so they don't heat up the tank like incandescent- and they come in varying UV outputs. I recommend less UV for a more natural looking light.

You can check out Hellolights.com. They have a 96w quad bulb pc that is about 18" long and puts out lots of light.
