Mold?

Well I was wondering sence the humidity has to be so high how do I keep it from molding because there is going to be wood and wood molds bad so what about mold is there somewat to avoide getting it or do I just buy fake wood?

Hi Brian,
Mold comes and goes in different states and different vivs. It is not something to be concerned with , health-wise.

Darts with parasites are analogous to mixed tanks, there are no known benefits to the frogs with either.

Rich is right, also there are certain woods that do better than others (and some that are even harmful -->sap woods) in the viv. What kind of wood will you be using?

Stay away from grapewood.

I have cork wood in one of my vivs and it have never had mold on it in 6 years. It does have moss growing on it now though.
