Primer and spray paint.

Darts with parasites are analogous to mixed tanks, there are no known benefits to the frogs with either.

I'd imagine that if you let it air out long enough, the fumes would settle. I must admint, I'd be scared too for bit, especially considering the rarity of the species at hand.
Who knows Rich, maybe someday these will become somewhat readily availble, all b/c of you! Kudos!

Considering all the petroleum products that are used in the herp stuff, I figured after curing for the month+ that it took to get my broms in originally , I was OK...........

We'll just have to make sure that doesn't happen again.
That's truly grand, Rich. How wonderful to be able to use all those nice big plants.

Just "normal" car primer and flat black spraypaint.
I'll collect a sample tomorrow Paul.

I took samples from a few spots around the viv.
Found some very tiny ants and a lot of other insects that I can't ID right now. At least five or six tiny, tiny bugs, none of which seemed to be springtails.

Very interesting..... Rich did you bleach everything before going into the viv or just the large wood pieces?
Another example of a viv that concentrates on the frogs versus the wow factor although yet again you managed both
Excuse the spelling mistake i am after all a numbers man

Hey Paul,
No, I did not bleach everything before it went into the viv. That would be a bit tough.
Autoclaves are only so big, as are ovens. The sun has a great UV "bleaching" way, extreme heat swings work also, sometimes, ...
It would seem the the major culprits of the "uncureables" come from CB vivs.....
NOT to say that there are not tons of possible "natural" or WC bugs/single cells, like coccidia and possible others not yet brought to the forefront, but it would seem the major issues fall within the froggers who do not do at least the basic minimum as far as Qs go...
BTW, that is an Uyama River Pum for my AV.

yeah I was just wondering if the insects had traveled to the viv or if they hitched a lift.
lol I knew it was

If I have a ton of beneficial outside bugs wanting to get into my vivs I will have to devise a one way door system for them soon.
