Incorporating a colony of Lasis Niger (Ants)

Do you think it'd be possible to incorporate a colony of 200 ants (including queen) into a Terrarium?

If for example the ants nest was below ground level and boxed in with only a 1 inch exit into the rest of the Terrarium? This would prevent huge groups of ants wandering around the terrarium at any given time, just 50 or so workers, the rest would be busy tending to the queen ant in the nest.

The PDF's could eat the ants?

Sorry if this is an absolutely ridiculous question, and I don't think I'd ever try it. Just curious as to other peoples views?

Sounds interesting. I know I read that you can infest the vivarium with springtails so there is a whole eco system I wouldn't think ants would be any different. What kind of ants were you thinking about using and how were you going to keep them boxed in to the area you want? Please let me know if this works for you. It seems like it would be a great idea. Though you might get ants around your house. I know with my Green Tree Frogs' tank I had ants move in, though I haven't seem any for awhile so I couldn't even tell you if it is working with them.

There have been topics such as culturing ghost ants (no queen to my knowledge) for feeding of darts. But I have not read any purposely cultured in-viv colonies about. I'd say it could be done in a big enough viv. Most things are easier in a big enough viv. But one thing to note. Darts do not like/do not eat all ants...
Darts with parasites are analogous to mixed tanks, there are no known benefits to the frogs with either.
