I love how we can have friends and foes...is Derek on here so I can hopefully make him my foe???

Lets clearly define the use of the name "derek". Its hard seeing my name all over the place (other forums) with the negative connotation.
Hi Chris, just joined up and this is my first post.
Derek-not the notorious derek.

If one is declared Foe, what happens then?

Foe's get their posts hidden from your account. So you can't see what they say.

It's going to make your Dart Den experience go on as if the person you don't like is NEVER around. Their posts and presence will be invisible. They will cease to exist to you.

You will never see another word that they type.

It's the same as the "Ignore" feature on other forums.

Thank you for the explanation. I have to say it must be for those who are being stalked or those who are not very mature, I never ever thought I would see a button provided to simply ignore someone.Who thinks up this stuff? I think people are really being dumbed down, Bill

Yeah it's an interesting little feature that all forum scripts offer. Again, most just call it ignore...

I've never actually used it thought. But from what I understand it just puts a "Comment Disabled" or "User Ignored" whenever they post and you go to read threads.

Sign of the times, Bill....sign of the times.

Things are different now, socially, culturally....than they were 10 or so years ago. Make's me feel old sometimes :|

I used this feature with great relish on DB to black out certain erm, non-frog related posts.

But then I am definitely not mature Big Grin

Kris (the real one! lol)
Do you know where your frogs have been?
