We found P. vittatus and D. auratus in these locations in Costa Rica.
Of course the frogs were quicker than my hands and the camera.

Lets do it then...go back. I'm thinking about heading down again, maybe in a few weeks. Its always better and safer when you have another herper or two. Nice way to split costs too.

Man, I wish it was that easy for me! Family, work and life really tend to get in my way of vacations now a'days! My wife and I have been talking about going back in a few years when our daughter is old enough to really enjoy it.
That airplane bar is called "El Avion" and is in Manuel Antonio. It is a plane that was left behind by the American government during the whole Iran Contra Scandal that the hotel owner salvaged and brought up the hill to turn into part of his hotel. It's got a bar, some tables and even a small dance floor. A cool little piece of history. If you end up there, the public beach at the bottom of the hill has the most awesome little sea food shack ever!
