It was also good to see all the different frogs and talk with someone with alot of experience. I heard a lot of calling in there today too.

Thank you to Phil for changing the thread title for me. This is now becoming more of a frog room thread then a single tank thread any more. All the frogs I got yesterday are doing great and eating. I moved some vivs around, I now have all the verts on one rack and the 40 breeder on the bottom of that rack. The plan is to make my own custom vivs with front sliding doors. I can fit nine on a rack. This will leave me room for two more 48" racks for possible breeding, tadpole and growout. I also have room for a culture rack. I will need to start working on a misting system as we will be going to California in August.

That would take some convincing of the husband to get him to drive me all the way out there. He's ok with a 45min drive, but over that and it's a no go. So I live vicariously through you guys!

Some excitement for a newb like me today. I heard and saw my first frog calling. I noticed my two E. anthonyi chasing each other around. I was doing something else in the frog room and heard calling from their tank. I waited and watched and saw and heard the male calling. Pretty neat for me, sorry I know this is not a big deal for the rest of you guys :p

It's exciting to me, even after all these years. It never gets old.
But it does get "better"....wait until you see your first eggs. Then froglet. Pure Magic.

That glass viv is 15Lx20Wx16H. Plan is to have nine of them on a rack. I also picked up a bunch of stuff from DartFrog Depot.

So this morning I hear a true "trill" call coming from my E. anthonyi viv. This is coming from the frog that I thought is a possible female. This frog has the true trill call and pouch enlargement. The other E. anthonyi also called, but I wouldnt consider it a true call. So I do not know if I could possibly have two males? I have not seen an aggression between the two, I know females can emit calls also.
