Recently Acquired Eldorados

[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]I am pleased to report that I just purchased four beautiful reddish Eldorados from a very respected member of the frogging community a couple of days ago. Won't mention his name because I wouldn't want to embarrass the owner of this site (lol)!

I am attaching some pics. When I got home, one of the frogs started calling as soon as I misted the tank.

Seriously, Phil has demonstrated to me the highest morals in the frogging hobby. Its all about the frogs; period, end of story. He has been a gentleman in every sense of the word. Thanks, Phil, and all the very best to you in your new endeavors.

Your friend,
Ed

I've been called a few names on here lately (PM's) , so hey, what's a little embarassment....

So glad you like those Ed. I made you wait...and a calling male asserting himself already as well !

As far as "History" on those four that you have...

They are all F1 from 2008-2009 SNDF imports, referred to as "Eldorados". There have been some pics on a Netherlands website that refer to that exact pattern and colour as "Las Tablas", which is a region somewhere closer to mid Panama instead of the Northern / East coast side where many people used to think that most Eldorados came from.

In terms of Hobby Management, I would keep them in that group and not split them up unless you find that one of the other three is a second male ect.

Another Hobbyist up your way that has 2 - believed to be an adult pair by now, is Eric Sweet - upstate NY.
