Recently received a frog that looked vastly different than the pic sent before the sale. I asked several other people who frequent the forums and was told that it is common practice on the sender's end, to take a pic of the animal immediately before packaging for shipping. I hadn't really thought of that point, but is that routine or "common practice".
The issue is ongoing and I believe the seller will make the situation right in the end...but a pic taken before sending(and compared with what was provided when finalizing sale) would have hopefully prevented any "oversights".

I see video from the unboxing on, is taking hold. Very nice...very nice and hope it becomes more widespread.
Very prudent.

I have unfortunately lost frogs while shipping. I have asked for video or photographic evidence of deaths exactly zero times.
I really hate to see people dealing with businesses they can not trust.
Darts with parasites are analogous to mixed tanks, there are no known benefits to the frogs with either.
If tone is more important to you than content, you are at the wrong place.

Trust needs to be ....built.
It's doesn't come with referrals or 'right off the bat'.
Everyone has to take that first leap with an unknown at some point.
Takes a while...

No trust, no transaction.

The video and/or pics are only to have on hand in case the seller or buyer balks. I would think that in most cases it wouldn't be needed but you's sure wish you had it if the seller denies a problem with the frogs.
Do you know where your frogs have been?

When I have no idea of the reputation of a frogger , I ask around. There are plenty of froggers' opinions that I trust fully to get their takes on people.
A little reading goes a long way.
In this day and age there is no excuse for buying from people with bad reps, if you REALLY do a little checking/work ahead of time.
Beware the bargain basement deals and those who use "ONE DAY ONLY!!!", and "buy one get three free!!!" and every now and then ask yourself why "FOR SALE" are the only written word from some vendors.
Rule #1 should be find people you absolutely know you can trust and the pics will not be needed.

As always, make sure you have pics. Ask for cell phone pics of the shipping box PRIOR to them sending it. Pics, pics, pics.
Pics of the box SENT
Pics of the box RECEIVED
Pics by both parties
