What to put in a 37gal ?
#1
So I have a 37gal tank sitting in my basement. I have never used it for anything. I have a stand to put it on in the Frog room. I cannot decide what I want to put in it. Dart Frogs, Tree Frogs, Gecko? I am kinda leaning towards A. callidryas or A. annae.

The only thing I don't like about tree forgs is the being nocturnal. I love red eyes but a green blob sleeping on the glass all day really doesnt appeal to me.

Yea, that is an issue, though I still like them.

dimensions?

Lately, I've been thinking more and more that a pepperi or bassleri setup with a semi-terraced background would be awesome.

I agree with this. I think the pepperi are an under appreciated frog. The ones I've seen are really nice. Great in groups as well.

The thing with 37g is they are tall (30 x 12 x 22). They are great for thumbnail darts and pumilio. My A. pepperi can jump and settle in a 55g. I inherited a 37g from my grandfather and lived using it for Blue Australian White's Tree Frogs in high school. Active, large frogs.

Yes it is tall, and kinda of narrow. It is still sitting in my basement and probably will for a while. I am in no rush to setup it up, I was just trying to come up with some ideas for it.
