and the key to all these different $$$ European books is BUY them QUICK as they always go out of print way too soon and value goes up and up.

Was talking to someone about the state of native Oophaga pumilio populations in Panama today, and we spoke about Chris. I never got a chance to meet him but you can just see how much of a legacy good work for animals can do ! I believe strongly in Karma.
If you appreciate and want to keep Oophaga pumilio, then you simply MUST own this book. It is one, if not THE top photo books ever produced for this species.

Was this recently? I sent an email 2 months ago & was advised that there were no more. I was also given a lonk to a forthcoming book called the complete oophaga pumilio which contains all the same photos but includes care info, the release date was due some time ago but has slipped. Ill dig out details & post here

Shipping, even small lightweight items like that thin book at $$$. I would think shipping one book to the US would cost 20.00 or more on shipping alone.

Agreed Phil. P&P will be expensive to the states. for the book I linked to.
Just to be clear this thread is about the original CV Lingden photo booklet which is a fantastic resource but ultimately only contains photos & distribution maps for most of the pum morphs. The upcomming book I linked to builds on this & details care, natural history etc. The text is written by Frank Steinmann with the photography by CV Lingden

I believe this book will be released within the next couple of weeks, if you are interested I would suggest you contact us button on the link above to express interest. Apparently the first run will be fairly limited in quantity

Anyone have this? One of the best, if not *the* best books on pumilio!
I wish it were back in print. Chris Sherman and I were going to reprint it (with permission). We will see...
Check out my blackberry...haha!
