Gorilla Glue vs. Silicone for heavier items
#1
Hey all,
I am in the planning stages of my 75 build and I want to use a relatively large piece of wood (approx 4 lbs) on the background. It is a half log, so it has plenty of surface area to apply an adhesive, but which one is going to hold the weight better, gorilla glue or silicone? I don't want this joker to fall off thats for sure. I will be GSing around it, so that may support it some. I will be applying the adhesive directly to the glass.
Thanks in advance,

Iv'e always had shitty luck with gorilla glue and glass. It seems to sheer off very cleanly every time. I would say the GS would offer the best support. Any reason you want to use something in addition ?

I would say either one....and then with the addition of GS...it will be secure. No worries.
