You would think otherwise, right ? The time of year when everyone is home, bad weather, inside da house....
Well....the Reptile show the other day was as good of a barometer as I need, after all these years.
Slow going, right now folks. Doesn't have to nessa be a bad thing....just gotta deal with it and slog thru it.

The vivs lighten the winter grumpies. Its a perfect time to start a new viv. By the spring, it will be amazingly grown in. Jut in time for new frogs.

Yep. Probably a good thing… makes it easier to keep attention on homework. Hmmm, fiscal policy or frogs? Yep, frogs wins. Gads, back to research.

Still slow everywhere......wonder why exactly ? It's the dead of winter when people should be in their houses focusing on frogs !

Well here in MN where we should be deadlocked in ice it was almost 50deg today and we still have no snow. I snowboard religiously over the winter so iv had nothing to do but play in my basement. sorry no pics because lack of internet at home.

No snow here in Utah this year either... Its not even that cold... Its been nice to be out collecting dead fall and leaves for viv projects, as well as isos and other insects for culturing. Seems the frogs are not active though, I rarely see mine these days, probably from the drop in temp. Oh well, I have 3 vivs that I created so far so by the time they are picking up, frogs should be available again.

Hmm has been the warmest winter here for a good good while and that's from across the pond, everything is totally out of balance for this time of year...miles out.
i'm thinking the hobby is slow here too but not weather related.

The weather in the Carolinas is Nuts. it was in the high 60s here then all of the sudden goes down to the 20s, the past 3 days have been so cold with the highest being 35ish.
Now as the fish hobby goes its funny but in the winter a lot of the hobbyist spend a lot more time in their fishrooms. ( i try not to ship fish during the winter though.)
