Frogs tongue is literally tangling out

I have a leuc that I posted about before, he's trying to eat now but his tongue kind of falls out when he tries to et the fly, he has to like drag it back in...


Anyone ever seen this ?

It seems to be short tongue syndrome. The flies aren't sticking and he is losing weight, symptoms of the disease.

It is most likely a condition caused by bad husbandry / poor nutrition. Inadequate vitamins and calcium. Possible Vitamin A deficiency. The lack of proper humidity could have added to this issue as well.

Dropped some bananas in so the flies won't leave and he has time to get them.

Fecals done no parasites. This is short tongue syndrome, got the stuff to cure it. Will keep updated.

Short tongue syndrome is a Vitamin A deficieny . I got a supplement that is pure Vitamin A almost. Just got to get him to eat the flies, he misses as his tongue has no stick to it.
