Poll - Buying Frogs from Jack the Ripper...

and before anyone threatens to sue  or otherwise gets all bent...the image and potential joke has no affiliation or representation to any live human being or hobbyist. Sometimes a funny post is just...a generic funny post.

it seems @ only 25% of the hobby has any appreciable POSITIVE outlook that hobbyists would steer clear of 'bad people'.

so...75% of all hobbyists think, 'eh...so what if the frogs are sketchy, as long as I can have em'.

Sobering, but true. We gotta be real here. This doesn't mean we throw our hands up or give up though. I guess it just comes down to 'look in the mirror time', or how well you sleep at night.

The allure (sickness) of the 'gotta gotta have it' frog. It strikes down both commoner and King. The case of a 'Forum helper' Arrow succumbing to this is not meant to embarrass or slam member or forum. I think it's better used as an illustration or a cautionary tale of 'what can happen' to anyone. And as evidenced by the disparity over the ethics of the person offering the gotta have frogs....a percentage of the hobby and obviously the person above, may not consider anything there to be wrong. Thats how debatable this all is.

The real HIGH end of the spectrum is Paul B. keeping money that people sent him for....some, not all....questionable frogs.

Search in the 'Feedback" area here for 2-3 threads on UK Paul B. (last name not needed repeating here due to the fact that the threads containing the full name are literally a mouse click away).

I remember paul. made me think about some of the other guys that seemed ok but where not. I remember one who wanted money to help save the frogs in brazil because of a dam project. never was sure about that one. don't think I ever see him posting anymore.

Paul B. Took about 8 U.S hobbyists for about $12,000.00
