Honestly I can't tell much of a difference between the 3gs and the 4s...but if you don't get the newest i-product all the other cool kids will not know you are cool...seriously guys :lol:

Also, I do have to say that I hate apple and all their restrictive, ultra-corporate, controlling software. So droids are better in that sense, but from talking to owners of both it seems that they are comparable in quality and functionality, and both have their quirks. I personally have an iphone but only b/c someone gave it to me b/c they had to have the newest, coolest i-phone 4gs. I'm sure I will be making another upgrade as soon as the I phone 5 comes out, gotta love tech hand me downs!

apple is too restrictive..can't crak the phone or it will void the warranty - they WILL know.lol

apple software is limited and restricted - they want to control everything. I think the iphone led the way but by now, the droid phones are just as good if not better.

4 G is supposed to be WAY f'in faster than 3 but it's not nationwide yet...still spotty and near the cities only.

I'm tossing the crackberry and I think I'm going droid.

I don't have a 4G phone but I love my droid. As you said Phil, you can't crack the iphone but not overly hard to do with a droid depending on which phone you get. I wouldn't of said this 10 years ago but Motorolla's are great. I have the Motorolla Droid 3 and can't say enough good things about it. My dad who is a HUGE Mac guy has a droid phone and a droid tablet because he didn't like what the iphone had to offer. A buddy of mine had a 2nd or 3rd gen iphone and just got rid of it for a droid and he says he likes the droid 100 times better.

Some of the stupidest things Apple has done with the iphone right down to if the battery goes bad, you have to send the phone in to get a REPLACEMENT phone. They won't send you a new phone or just put a battery into your old phone, they send you out a refurbished phone even if the phone is only a few months old. I called Motorolla's warranty department for my droid because I did have an issue, they gave me a promotion code which I got a BRAND NEW phone and 20% off my bill. Talk about service!

I prefer a Droid platform over and Iphone. Mostly because 99% of the droid market is privateer based. Its not controlled by a major force and most of it is allowed to be open sourced. With Apple, a lot of app developers have to either, A pay to use the source code, or B, obtain it via other ways, (Remember the whole Israel scandal where Apple banned Ipad imports on account of the locals hacking the Ios to develop apps?) IMO Droid just appeals to the masses, And yes, the Iphone paved the way, but hasn't really followed the flow.

I also own an Ipad original, and It does have it's uses, but sometimes it can be very constricting compared to an android tablet i have as well.
