Hmm...the dead frog with it's foot caught in the background, may just be an urban legend.

I had epiweb and it was never an issue. I only kept thumbs though.

Sounds like Tree Fern panel is...safer.

Has anyone used Epiweb as a floor substrate? Maybe a lot less mess than soils/ABG mix? Cover it in sphagnum to keep frog toes from snagging.
I'm in the process of getting materials for my 40 breeder and wanted some suggestions. My first tank I used great stuff with no issues but my 2nd tank I used g/s and it shrank on me everywhere...top, sides, back, bottom. Completely unusable for frogs. Using it to grow out tank some plants right now until I rip it all out.

Ok, next question is where do I find it in the US? Apparently it's not being shipped into the US. There was someone selling Ecoweb which is supposed to be the same thing but still can't find anyone who sells it.

I'm going to try and grow it over in moss before I mount it and HOPE it won't cause any problems. I'm going to be putting my Leucs in there. From what I've noticed, mine like to climb the glass more than the background. Another HOPE this keeps up.
