First pumilio froglet!
#1
I just came home for my lunch break and during my routine health and welfare check found this! My first pumilio froglet! This is from my trio of El Dorado SNDF. I got the females in February of this year and the male in May of this year...

What an amazing feeling! Smile

Cool. Eggs are always still exciting to find, but for me....seeing a tiny froglet spring out of nowhere is pure magic.

I about messed my pants when I saw it... This is my first tank raised offspring... I'm so glad I have loads of springtails on hand!

don't be afraid to get them onto small melanogaster ASAP. Froglets need superfine powdered supps in them pronto.

My eldorados morphed out big and were taking FF's almost right away.

This guy looks big enough for them... How long should I wait before pulling them out of the parent tank?

yep...I'd leave it in for a good long while. I am of the mind to wait until them are getting to be sexually mature - @ 4 -5 months, before taking them out.

use lots of leaf litter too.
