new sites of pumilio in my wish list!
#1
Out of curiosity I thought I'd ask those who don't feel we have more an sufficient already in the hobby and able to maintain without any further wc-"fr" animals ....

I am actually not lying when I say that I've been one of those who has vocally jizzed (crazy way of slobbering) at the computer screen when looking through those euro morphguides for years now.....

So for that past 6-8 months we have learned that the wish list is more of a to get list and we no longer have to dream and drool over some of these animals(pumilio)

I'd be interested to hear everyone's top 3 islands, sites, and or morphs you'd like to see make their way into our slowly but surely growing hobby.

I know this is kind of off topic bro, but whatever. I have been out of the loop for the past couple months with everything going on over here. Work, school, to many pumilio (baaaazinga! one can never have to many pums). Anyway there is a guy advertising some wc escudo over on kingsnake, and he is saying basically these just came in. Did Ray Jr bring in a 3rd import this year, or are these getting sourced through someone else? They posted a couple pics, and the escudo in the second pic on the post is absolutely amazing with its black etchings. Anway Im not interested buying them, more interested in the legitimacy of things. Will

Sidney may chime in and know who this is.....but without MUCH more info and feedback, there's NO WAY I'm buying escudo from someone with a single advertisement on the' snake who goes by "AT" and no real name.

Noooooooooo way.

They were brought in on May 2nd via Strictly Reptiles...according to SNDF's sale ad on DB.

Back on topic, the pumilio that I'd love to see available the most is the Isla Baki morph... Beautiful frogs!

Just a thought on this thread, if you have any pics to go with your wish list posts, please put them up.

Yes its a strictly employee who supposedly bought "all 10" escudos pre arrival. Personally, I wouldn't pay retail price for these as there is no way to track age.
For all we know they're great great grandparents already! I'm sure many more will come as Europe already received their several hundred escudos from all directions in the island. Then you know we come next to get the rest in the farm. I think.

Why would they be any different than any of the other WC "FR" import pumilio? No one knows the age of any of the specimens that arrived.

Yep I agree, however that was not the argument you were making. Your statement only indicated issues with age.

I understand and I should have been more clear. And it is a chance we take before we buy from strictly or the reseller. Even if it is $50-70 per...in the end it always adds up to several thousands. But personally I guess I wouldn't dish out $700 for a best guess wc sold higher than a CB pair.

I wouldn't buy WC or "FR" Escudo no matter what importer was selling them. The Island is a reserve and it has probably already had way too many taken from it over the years.

I really like the Pelican Key population. Metallic green with some blue on the legs. Google it Wink

I think we have way more than enough O. pumilio populations to manage. However, if I had to pick an interesting one, I really liked the population on Nicky. Smaller than escudo but quite bold. I was the first off the boat and caught 15 in the first 5 minutes all around one large tree buttress.
