What would be more interesting is if the froglet deposited the tad...did he?

I'm surprised you pulled it tad intact. Can't tell you how many tad rescues I've done when spooking a transporter that I didn't happen to see.
Wonder if it was in the same deposition site when the tad was planted.

unfortunately when I placed the froglet back in the tank, it dropped the tad which I then placed in the nearest brom axil. If I had noticed the tad on its back I wouldn't have pulled it, so the whole thing was sort of an accidental find...It was certainly a thought provoking find. Was it accidental, was it intentional, is there a greater communal effort by these frogs to tend the tads? Is this the type of thing that would only happen in a tank or does it/could it happen in the wild? I hope to see more incidents so I can observe some actual froglet transports
