Each IR LEDs that emit no visible light?
#1
Hi there,

I have done some due diligence search on this forum for an answer, but no luck.

I have searched high and low for an IR LED that emits no visible light. Everyone I've seen (granted only a few) emit a trace of visible light, which is quite obvious, in total darkness, if you look directly into the light. Is there such a thing as an IR LED not good enough do not emit visible light, or am I looking for something that does not exist?

I'm considering buying a SF M1 but found that there are some visible light, but I'm also wondering if commissioning of the SF IR filter (designed for the Incas) would work on the M1 and / or the best way to solution. ..

They exist - over here at least. I use them routinely at work. I'll try to find something with the manufacturer's details on but it was a while ago when I got them!
