Can Springtails hurt my Dart Frog ?
#1
I fed my new frog those guys once and I've got them breeding in my tank, I read before, that's fine and can actually be beneficial, but they are in the water dish and sometimes climb on him. is it annoying to the Frog, and can it hurt him?

Hi Kelly,
Unless you have way more springtail going than I can conceptualize, your frog should do just fine with a decent number of springtails.
If they are constantly crawling all over him ,all day long, that could stress him. But that would take a HUGE number of springtails.

Darts with parasites are analogous to mixed tanks, there are no known benefits to the frogs with either.
