that's the 'long' tank right ? Tincs or Terribilis. You've got some Terrib breeding in the Texas area right ? Beth has some.

i do really like banded imi's. could i only put a pair in there?

I'm not up the optimal sex ratio for banded imitators....you'd have to ask a current breeder what the best group would be.

quick info...best kept 1.1

vertical tank...not a long tank like you just bought. minimum size 20 gallons, i prefer the '33 gallon' front opening vivs.

like ANY frog species...do your homework, ask around, try to by local - support your local breeder....

some.....thoughts.

i am waaaaay for supporting my texan froggers.....what do you think about a leuc tank? i know we both ( fiancee and i) love their looks anyway. i want to make sure i get a semi social frog if that makes sense.

yep...2.1...or even 3.2 may be good in that viv, depending on how you constructed it.

when i do decide to put it together, i plan on inlisting some of my locals to help me put it together......really do it right and spend the $$$ on it. living room show piece kinda thing. some of my friends are getting interested in the hobby and having a kick ass nice tank to show off might just bring some new people in.

Yep, that's a great way to get more people involved - build a great show tank.

Based on viv pics here on DD, I'd say you need to buy some beer and ribs...and then invite Casper and Chuck over to help you brainstorm and design that bad boy.
