hey that's all coming together really nice! I won't make it over this weekend because of the in-laws being here but I think I'll have all day Thursday off this next week to stop over.

Thanks field. had some trouble with all those POS clay backgrounds after about 6 months and finally got stuff back on track.

More viv shots as promised

Ill start with my favorite 40 vert

This stump is awesome and is a chunk of boxelder root structure from a tree uprooted during flooding on the Mississippi at a beach near me. It seems that the roots are very dense and will hold up alot better then the rest of the tree

A thirty gal measuring 2' wide x 2'tall x 12" front to back. some intense background work but iv just been tossing cutting and plants in it and getting them rooted. I pull them out and move them into vivs as needed. Some stay if they look good.

And a lower shot of the vent and track. Iv had alot of people ask me how I set the track to utilize the stock aquarium trim as a seal for the doors. Hope this helps a bit. I will post more pictures for that closer up soon to give a better view but its quite simple

Thanks. Yea I like the 40 breeders. And the verts are because I don't plan on keeping tints or auratus. Mainly Pumilio and thumbs. I also keep alot of treefrogs and if i want to tear one down and set it up for treefrogs iv already got the vert kit built with good ventilation. iv got two 40's turned on side as well and iI really like those. The 135 will be backgroundless with lots of wood and im planning either some terribs or orange pepperi.

A close up of how i notch and line up my track for bi-pass sliding doors. I take out about a 1/8th inch slit right in line with the center divide making it so one door sits flush inside and one outside on the otherside.
