Just an FYI for those of you in the area. Chattanooga TN is hosting its first reptile show! I know it's not frog specific but its a move in the right direction! It'll be Feb 16th & 17th at the Camp Jordan Arena.

We might need to revise the title of this thread Phil - I thought we were locked in for November 9th, but we may need to make a change in the date and venue. Timing and venue conflicts may move the show to the East coast (NY) for September 2013. We hope to have the details finalized in the next month.

My understanding from Matt Mirabelo, is that it might not happen. I guess there has been difficulty finding a venue.

My understanding is the Arizona locale. Matt did tell me he is planning for ny area "frog day" this fall. I assume this is if Arizona doesn't happen.

I'll start looking at what needs to be done to host the 2014 frog day. I think Dallas would be a great place to have it, 2 zoos within a 30 minute drive, all kinds of nightlife(s), big airport, a large number of locals that are in the hobby that would be more than happy to give frog room tours and help with making frog day 2014 in Dallas happen.

For the record, I'm not from Texas, just moved to where the $$ went...
So the only thing you'll here me say about the cowgirls is ripping on them...
All jokes aside, i called it first!!!
Vegas would be cool, but then the wife would want to come and i fear frog money would be lost to the one armed bandit...

No!
Dallas needs to stop stealing hockey teams and stop talking about their stupid football team.
Why are we even having this conversation?
Frogday needs to be in .......
Las Vegas (this should require no explanation)
Miami (This should also require no explanation)
DC/Baltimore (For NAIB and mostly because it's where I am)

With as many of us as there are spread across these two boards this should not be to difficult to accomplish.
I am also getting ticked off that all these shows keep getting cancelled! First MARS now frogday.
The dart frog community was able to put together IAD in 99 with half the resources and 1/4 the following. In this day and age we should be able to pull off some sort of convention.

Boy, I have tossed around the idea of trying to put together another IAD like event in the greater PA/MD area. Timonium, MD always seemed like a good spot...
