Not to start trouble, but 'private breeder?' Surely you must know more than that?

I am not happy with what is being implied here re: the source of these frogs.
The back story is incorrect and dishonest.

Then I guess breeders shouldn't try to be so secretive. If a breeder is unwilling to tell his/her name, what are they trying to hide? This kind of behavior will obviously lead to people wondering/guessing, etc. Just be upfront, people! Why all the drama about breeding frogs? If you are being dishonest or doing something illegal, shame on you! Otherwise, give your name!

Perhaps we should wait for him to elaborate before we go waving the red flag and train wrecking his thread.

I can only provide the information i was given when i received the frogs. Thats why i said "sold to me as yara", and I wasnt given specific information about the breeder, other than it was a "private" old frogger. I wish I could be more specific on them

I am not happy with this 'lack of specificity". I've had more than a couple PM and inquires into these 'Yara".
Nobody is being picked on.....the hobby is just doing it's due diligence here.
I'm gathering more information...

Man, everyone is so quick here to join a witch hunt. If anyone noticed it appears he offered these frogs at ManCreek prices because he has doubts if the locality/source is correct. Who can argue with that? Sounds like the seller is being upfront and honest here.

Wasn't there an old "private" breeder on the west coast working with yaras?

I think its time a certain someone owns up to the mess they've created...the person that misrepresented these as Yara to others. They have put other decent hobbyists in a tough spot. If they are Yara, where did they come from? Although, I have some serious doubt about them really being Yara...

Maybe including who you purchased the available frogs from wouldn't be a bad idea either.

KGB may not be to blame here. I suspect these 'Yara' were from Sid, and I know not from Blk Jungle or the CA 'old timer' as suggested by Sid.
Sorry Brandon.

Sorry Brandon.
I think most of us realize that, but its worth noting. This isn't about Brandon, it's about the source of the problem

.
You need to take responsibility when you buy from known habitual liars. If he bought from Ferrell he's now dealing with the aftermath.
Everyone who deals with Ferrell eventually has to deal with his lies and what he consistently does to our hobby. Some deal with what they've found by lowering a head and not making eye contact...
Blame? Start with Sid and go outwards to those who deal with him after all the warnings for over the past year.
Who'd you buy these from Brandon?

First off, I did not "purchase" these frogs, they were sent to me by "mistake" some time ago. Knowing the current information, I assume they are indeed mancreek, from a strictly import, and they are still prices accordingly. They are beautiful healthy frogs, and for a good price. When people make a classifieds listing, they dont name the last five people that owned the frogs, they name the "lineage", which is what I did.

Because of who they can be linked to?

People want even more honesty , specifically who these came from and the correct story behind them.
Nobody is arguing about a lack of info or bad info. People are asking specific questions, like , who'd they come from.
If, if they came from Ferrell, in any way , then they stink of him and to many are worth less than "Man Creek price", they are in fact worthless, just like Ferrell's reputation and word.

Brandon, real quick and easy. Did these frogs make their way to you via Sidney Ferrell in any way shape or form?
