'Bout 1/3 the way through this. Thanks Glenn.
Darts with parasites are analogous to mixed tanks, there are no known benefits to the frogs with either.

I am starting to fully understand the absolute enthrallment with hard written word (books) when I travel down south.
I give away a good amount of my books and even in places where there's an internet café or total access to WIFI and /or computers in general...they want and love books. Not just locals, but x-pats too.
The last time I was in CR I talked to a guy at a bar in Dominical who asked us what we were doing and then told me of a guy he met two years past with a book he had bought on Amazon about the frogs myself and my buddy were studying , testing and taking pics of. Said the guy who wrote the book's name was Rich Frye. As many drinks as we had , middle of the jungle, he's pulls my name out of thin air in two seconds.
I told Mark that I had one book left and if he would meet us at this same bar in two nights an autographed copy was his for free.
Two nights later Mark was there well ahead of me and my buddy. He was all smiles and proceeded to rat out the owner of the bar we were drinking at saying that Kathy and Bill did not appreciate my book they way he would.
Mark had bought rice and a big clear baggie in which he intended to store my/his book.
Kathy and Brain's book's edges were curling in the tropical humidity and this was something Mark would certainly not let happen.

Sorry for the hi-jack. True and telling story though.

Is it just me, or did the conclusion seem to be the long way of saying "it's complicated"? :-)
