Hello all! I have been interested in keeping dart frogs for quite a while, and I'm finally going to start! I've done a lot of reading on the forum, and I'm very excited to bring some frogs into my life! I met a couple a while back that kept some azureus, and I've been hooked ever since! My boyfriend (a photographer, so great pictures to come once we get our frogs!) and I are looking to become involved in any local frogger groups (we live in Fort Pierce, FL) and hopefully find some good froglets through them or one of the reptile shows that comes through. Any advice on where to find good, inexpensive set up equipment and supplies in the area would be greatly appreciated, as well as connections with local froggers!
We are also pet-parents to two lazy cats, many fish, and an emperor scorpion.
Thanks!
Anna

Greetings Anna and welcome to Dart Den !
I used to live in West Palm..and Hollywood...and Gainesville.heh. There are a decent amount of FL froggers but most are 'inland' or on the 'Left Coast' for some strange reason. There are about a dozen that are active here and will most likely find this thread and PM you or tack on a reply. Don't be shy about posting any questions you may have, and chances are, they will be answered quickly - sometimes within hours!
Welcome to the wonderful world of Dart Frogs...and....have fun!

Haha! I was born in Hollywood, grew up in West Palm, currently reside in Fort Pierce, and will be moving to Gainesville next year! Small world!
Thanks! Looking forward to FINALLY getting some darts!

be sure to get your frogs from a breeder here on the forum and NOT from some random guy who 'flips' them at a Repticon.
Take a look at the classified section here. Those are the people you want to buy from..the actual breeders.
