2014 Frog Day- May 24th Who's going ?
#1
Is anyone here planning on attending Frog Day next month in Fremont, CA? For such a large event being coordinated by such a reputable person, I am surprised to see very little buzz about it here.

Hey Brian, that 'lack o' buzz' is due to me not going...heh.

I have only missed one frog day in the last 6 or so years. The Left coast is a little too far for me right now and my cousin just moved from Chico or else I would hit him up as a coinciding va-ca.

Seriously folks, if you are such an unlucky soul to have never been to a single Frog Day - then you NEED to go to this one if possible. Frog Days are awesome. Full of fun and fellowship with 'our own kind'.

Heck Glenn (Frogfreak) drove down from Toronto to pick me up 2 years ago and we drove out to Chicago for FD 2012. Had a blast.

Do not miss Frog Day !!!

Jeez Phil, can't you create some buzz without attending? I thought you had some pull around here!? LOL
I will be driving about 7 hours north for this one. It will be my first Frog Day. Been to the last 2 Microcosm's and just about every So. Cal frog meet in the last 7 years but not FD. Looking forward to it!

Anyone else going?

I'm going! For those that haven't seen the American Frog Day website or facebook page be sure to check it out. The lectures alone on Friday evening will be worth the trip and the fund raiser auction will have some great stuff. Not to mention the great vendors selling tons of cool frogs. It's a rare opportunity to see so many amazing frogs at one event. You don't want to miss it!

Frog Day is the 'mardi gras' of our hobby - seriously. If you are closeby and/or have the means.

Yup.
Darts with parasites are analogous to mixed tanks, there are no known benefits to the frogs with either.

Quite a few of us from So. Cal appear to be driving up north for it. I've been to North West Frog Fest years back and 2 Microcosm's, but this will be my first Frog Day.
Are you going this year Rich?
Anyone else?

My budget generally allows going to walking distance show unfortunately.
