What are these? Springtail eggs?
#1
I just started a springtail culture a couple weeks ago. It's my first time doing one. I opened it up yesterday and saw these. Are they eggs? Or are they something bad like mites or something?

Thanks in advance for any advice or information.

Sorry for the photo quality it's with my iPhone. I'll get a better one with my real camera later today. [Image: qadu5a3e.jpg]

hmmm I see yeast...yeast slurry....yeast 'flakes' but no....'eggs'

Springtail eggs are tiny and white and are laid on the charcoal in 'patches' - easy to spot.

You may just have mites there...
