The standard fruit fly lids that have the holes which are covered up with a type of fabric. Josh's used to carry them now they just have lids with holes in them.
Did something happen in the last two months with these lids? I buy in quantity and my supply is almost out and I can't find these lids.
Does anyone know where to buy them?

You just need the lids? Not the cups too?
Man, the lids are SO easy to wash and reuse. I have 12 year old lids.

Just a FYI, Fabri-Kal is not making the fabric coated lids anymore. My best advice is to keep them and soak in a bleach solution let them air dry and re-use them.

There are at least two different places to still get these and they WILL still be made.
But
Still good advice to wash and reuse.

I agree Phil, a couple of places to get them but will be in demand and more expensive, already are.

Uggh, just opened my order of 500 from a few weeks ago. I received the dreaded plastic lids without any warning. Not cool :?

Well, I'll just say they're taking care of it. They had them picked up at my house and are giving me a refund. Handling it with class. They took what I perceive to be a bad transaction and in some ways made it a good transaction, which is the mark of a good business.

I wouldn't even go as far as to say 'bad business'....only call it 'substituted lids'. Just a product thing, not a bad or a deceitful thing.
I think it would still be helpful if you named the company and thereby aided the hobby and allowed futures readers to decide for themselves if they want the new lids. Naming them would also have the added benefit of showing everyone a class act business willing to do whatever it takes to make the customer happy.
Nothing but 'win' for posting...

Everyone able to get the fabric-cote lids ? Those new lids with holes in them have got to suck - mites, escaped larvae, smell...

FYI Superior is more expensive than a vendor in NE.
