And here's the Logo Graphic that Matt A. (Melas) designed.

I've seen the Logo on a couple different T-shirts at shows - Represent ! 8)

Yep...MADS member, Matt Allen (Melas) has em'. I think he even has a Zazzle store front with them, where you can order long or short sleeves and different colors.

Shoot him a PM.

Yes, you can get all kinds of stuff with MADS on it. I tried to get a facebook group for MADS to post events, but myself and Melas were the only two interested.

Most Dart Frog groups are really only big enough to exist inside of the Forums.

MADS meets and gatherings usually bring @ 30 people

The TRI STATE meet in Brooklyn had over 40 though.

That's the key to advancing the Hobby - the Local groups.

I understand that. With the facebook group you can limit it to MADS members only. Would help with who is attending and who is not.

It's been since Dec 2010 that we've had a MADS meet at Scott M's uber basement frog heaven. I doubt I'll get another one in, before Florida.....sigh.....

any way you can pull it off with him?? You are the only person I have met in this group...so you already know I'm old enough to be your "mom" and would really like to meet this group of people...when do you leave???

Just keep your eyes peeled for a meet at Scotts house. He's only on DB and even then, very infrequently. IF he chooses to have another meet (someone stole frogs at his last meet and he's still upset by it)..be SURE to attend it, even if it means calling off work. It's just that good.

Florida ? Gotta sell my townhouse here in PA first. It's almost ready to be put on the market.

No, I'm in MD between Westminster and Frederick...just gotta tell you...am probably old enough to be at least your mom...so the getting acquainted thing is awkward...don't want anyone to think I'm their memaw...or a chaperone...I'll at least bring one six-pack of Molson Golden on ice...and if people there are friendly enough for a "geezer."...might even bring more... And from all the crap I read about the stolen frogs...what a mess...and couldn't blame Scott for only personally inviting certain people without any complaint from me....thanks for sending me the Columbia thing...am going to try to make it...seems like a three-beer drive...

There's always bad seeds. As for u being as old as my mom, she's in her sixites. There's a few froggers I know getting up there. Whatever. I'm all about personal experience. It's always nice to share stories with anybody. I'm glad that you're excited about frogs "at your age". You should never stop tryig to discover something new.
