Any suggestions for improvements on the 29 are welcomed. This will be home to my D. leucomelas group so I'm staying away from broms...but I just ordered quite a bit of Ficus pumilia var. quercifolia...so I may be adding that soon. Still not sure I like the ferns...also thinking I should add a couple more wendimbes. So...c'mon and give me some opinions!

I'm totally new, but I like the ferns, how they arch over the stone.
If I may, why avoid the brooms with Leucs?

Really it's just that I'm not a big fan of broms...but the leucs don't need them so that's my rationalization
And I know its a bad pic, but that's actually a big root system, not a stone. It is hollow underneath, so it should serve as a large hide/calling perch (hopefully).

Here is a pre-planting pic that shows the roots...sorry about the reflection, the front of my house faces due south which makes getting a pic during the day kinda hard...

Your viv looks real good so far. If you wanted to ideas, I am always a sucker for moss covered driftwood branches... Something thick that a frog can climb. Also helps add usable viv space for frogs. For inspiration, I am thinking of that viv that Dendroworks has his Redhead Histos... You know the one??

Yeah Scott I know exactly the one you are talking about...that's an awesome idea. I should be getting a moss shipment this afternoon, so hopefully I will have some more stuff to work with soon. Thanks for the inspiration!

How did you guild your drainage area? Is it all gravel with a thin layer of leaf ABG style mix or is it just gravel in front with egg crate behind?

Hey Craig, it is a typical eggcrate false-bottom with about 1/2" of pea gravel on the front and the sides. Then I did almost 3" of ABG, the photo is a little misleading. I put a 2" layer of LL on top of that.

I was given permission from the artist to print a small amount of "extra" copies (I made a couple for myself). 6 or 7 people have them, currently....I may have 1-2 more copies.

Thanks guys. Keeping darts has taught me a little patience...when I used to build treefrog vivs I would pack them with plants because I didn't want to wait for stuff to grow in. Now I try to keep it too simple (fight that primal urge to overplant) and hope for the best when everything grows in. Next project: 75 gal rebuild, I'm excited! Also, here is an updated pic of the E. anthonyi clay tank. Overall its doing pretty well, had one piece fall where the condensation from the glass lid runs down the side and I think the creeping charlie was getting too much light. BUT...a bunch of volunteer moss has started to pop up...so I'm psyched! You can see the latest clutch of eggs on the left towards the bottom (pretty sure its not good...just got some vit A) easier to see if you maximize the pic.

Great looking tanks! Love the froglets as well
