hello very awesome thread there. once you start noticing the back legs on the froglet like around day 30ish do you notice movement in them? or they only start moving days later?

No confirmation, but charting the size and the onset of the bubbles that are now proving to be merely 'uncommon' in occurrence instead of the originally thought 'rare, I'd say it's a pretty good bet that it's gas caused by excessive protein or some composition of the water. Sometimes the bubbles don't appear until after a few days to even weeks, so that alone would make me rule out 'embryonic fluid'.

I really doubt it's fluid, as my vote.

'Bubble' Tadpoles. Not as uncommon as you would think and very survivable in a captive breeding environment.
