This place has inspired part of my upcoming special FX viv which will have pools and/or stream lit by blue leds, and little floating islands made from black waterfall foam with sphagnum moss as substrate for utricularia, or moss/riccia. I may also do some raised areas under the water with pads of utricularia graminfolia or aquatic moss to get that submersed moss bed look.
The Floating islands will be anchored by clear fishing line or clear flexible plastic tabs that allow them to rise and fall with the water level but stay in the same place. Then I'll have the firefly lighting, lightning storm led strobe lighting/plasma luming glass lightning/sound loop, suspended fiber optic stars for part the night scene and of course the holographic fairy cave I posted about. Maybe some other goodies like glowing moss...but I'm not sure if that idea will work yet, gotta test a few different ways to do it I came up with. It should look all natural during the day, but like something out of avatar at night
