I just saw this and I would put this on my list of things to see when I eventually get down there.

I have....looking for my pics but they were on my BB sim and long gone, not saved to my comp drive. The water was not that blue when I saw it. I suspect a little photoshopping....

Bear in mind, my trip was after the culmination of a horrific wet season that caused all the erosion you see AND almost caused my taxi driver to take us off the cliff plunging hundred of feet to my doom. Some roads in Northern CR are as good as any US interstate (not many though) but most are rock and dirt and mud and require yearly maintenance by bucket cranes and bulldozers.

This place has inspired part of my upcoming special FX viv which will have pools and/or stream lit by blue leds, and little floating islands made from black waterfall foam with sphagnum moss as substrate for utricularia, or moss/riccia. I may also do some raised areas under the water with pads of utricularia graminfolia or aquatic moss to get that submersed moss bed look.

The Floating islands will be anchored by clear fishing line or clear flexible plastic tabs that allow them to rise and fall with the water level but stay in the same place. Then I'll have the firefly lighting, lightning storm led strobe lighting/plasma luming glass lightning/sound loop, suspended fiber optic stars for part the night scene and of course the holographic fairy cave I posted about. Maybe some other goodies like glowing moss...but I'm not sure if that idea will work yet, gotta test a few different ways to do it I came up with. It should look all natural during the day, but like something out of avatar at night Wink

Well after a google image search, If I had to guess I'd say it is in a transitional area between them, or near one of them but not actually in one...though some small tributaries may flow through either place.

I don't know, but I'm going there...I'm i'm going to hit on every Elven girl I see...except the fat ones. (But that's one thing great about the Elves...there are no fat ones!!!) Looks like there are some fat brown trout there...and those are fun to catch.
