Well 2015E was a bit more productive than I thought. They must be stashing eggs outside the coco hut, because I found these two guys swimming around the deposition pool:

This was the first set of transported Lorenzo for me. I know my other groupings had the opportunity to transport in the past because they don't always deposit in the huts, but this pairing (dominant UE male, dominant Stewart female) were the first to do it successfully.

I have a concern with two of my UE animals, one male from 2009 that I acquired last fall and one suspected female that I picked up this spring. Both have growths - the male has a bump on his side, and the suspected female has a bump on her face. Here are pictures of the suspected female:

My inclination is to pull them from my breeding program since I am not sure what this is. They are outwardly healthy and the male is going on six years old so it seems like they both will do just fine. Would others agree with my strategy to not breed them?
Any other Lorenzo keepers seeing this from their UE animals?

My first guess for a bump is a sub cut worm. Were these wild caught?

No, CB by UE. the animal pictured is a juvenile - my guess is ~8 months old based on size / my experience with Lorenzo. The male with a bump on his side (not pictured) is six years old and CB by UE as well. I will try to get pictures of him but he is shy.
It's just strange that I have two UE line animals six years apart with growths. I can shoot a note to UE and see if they have seen this with their Lorenzo before but I figured I'd see if anyone else has seen this before.

Caught something last night I had not seen before ... a Lorenzo transport! Since 2015E seemed to be doing well transporting I figured I would let 2015C give it a go:

My new UE juveniles are growing out nicely. I hope to have them paired up with Stewart animals toward the end of the year. One female is looking really neat - she's really dark with a small crest. The pictures are a bit blurry because it's pretty dark in the grow out...but I put them up here because the color differences were interesting.

Yep tinctorius transport as well. It's a good way to control production of prolific morphs. I found my azureus could generate 30+ froglets per month if I pulled clutches. If allowed to transport and morph out in viv I get one every month or two.
I pull Lorenzo eggs though - there are too few of these animals in collections these days so we need to boost their populations a bit.

Very nice stewarding these and strengthening the existing lines. Please post your breeder certificate that future owners of these will get some day. I think it's an outstanding effort.

Thanks Phil! Here's the draft certificate I've been working on that shows the lineages and breeder codes I use. This is the more complicated lineage with the non-sibling pairings I've been slowly working toward. I'm still trying to track down more details on Bill's animals.

Just outstanding! Very happy to see this. A large 'controlling' effort a la frog tracks or ASN didn't work but individual efforts just may be much more effective.
No one knows where Bill S. Got his frogs?

I have to talk to Chuck and Kris again and draw the tree out. It gets fuzzy in the 90's and early 2000's when the US animals dwindled to Bill's. I have some detailed history from Kris on her animals and Sean's that came from Bill but not much earlier history. That's partly why I was holding back the prototype certificate as I was not sure if I wanted to include the lineage tree on the cert since that may change over time as I document more.
Zach and I were talking the other day about how the stories behind the frogs and who has kept them over the years make these old lines / morphs really interesting. And you really start to understand how critical a few people's efforts were to this morph ... like Bill.
