Nice looking tanks!

I especially like the Retic tank. Any breeding from them at all? I've heard they're shy. True?

They where pretty bold at first but now that they ARE breeding I hardly ever see them. I have gotten 3 clutches of eggs from them so far and a few tads in the water. Benedicta I have only gotten one clutch but lots of calling and following. Very bold in comparison to some of my other frogs...I actually see my benedicta more than most my other frogs.

really! that is one very red cryptanthus, I've seen red, pink & orange varieties but nothing that bright before, is it a specific cultivar or are you using some mega bright lighting in that viv?

its just close to the light, I have the same stars in other tanks further from the light and they are a pale red with green to them.

Mike,
I am building a new viv and read your thread--very helpful! A question--it's been over a year since you built these, are you still happy with the clay tank? I guess I'm just curious, since the clay was cat litter! I want to try it, if you're still happy with it and it's held up well.

Honestly I couldn't tell you. I had to get out of the hobby due to allergies. broms didn't seem overly happy with how moist the litter was but ferns and ect did pretty well. Insainly heavy though as you could guess.

Thanks everyone for the compliments and the honor of this thread being made a sticky.

The honour is ours Mike. We miss ya. Your builds and frog room was one of the best. I hope you'll be back - with allergy meds, in the future.

Thank you !
